AP 40 40MM CRUSHED AGGREGATE
40mm Base Course is the most common 40mm base course crushed aggregate product used in civil construction work around Palmerston North. It is ideal for compaction and any driveway maintenance and road maintenace jobs use mostly 40mm AP40 Base Corse. It is hard wearing and easy to work with especially with the silt content that makes it compact and hold tightly when dampened.
TNZ M4 40MM CRUSHED AGGREGATE
40mm Transit New Zealand specified M4 Base Course is designed for the road construction industry and is specified by Transit New Zealand for the road construction process. The product is tested at production and by independent accredited testing labratories to ensure the grading meets this New Zealand Standard. AP 20 20MM CRUSHED AGGREGATE
20mm Crushed Top Course is produced to finish civil construction projects like roads, car parkes driveways and paths before sealing with ashpalt, hotmix or chip sealing. It is finer than the base course used in the sub base and base course and when compacted produces a hard and smooth surface ready to seal, hotmix or ashpalt
CRUSHER DUST
Crusher Dust is a by-product of the sealing chip manufacturing process and can be used in the final blinding and finishing of areas before paving or concrete work is performed. It compacts well with the fine crushings and silt content. Longburn Shingle Company produces three grades of Sealing Chip as shown in the Sealing Chip Product pages
ARENA MIX
Arena Mix is a combination of Crusher Dust and Washed 5mm Sand. The combination allows for the horse arena to bind together and reduce the dust effect from wind. The ratio is determined by the horse owner and can often be 50/50 mix or even 75/25 Sand to Crusher Dust.
